Misty whinnies in frustration as she trotted across the track. She hadn't had a good work in ages and was full of pent up energy just about to explode. "Easy, girl. Easy." Aly murmured, trying to keep the filly calm. Blowing her out just before the first race of her career was not a good idea. This was just a maitenance work to make sure she was in tip top shape. Plus, the extra energy could help her in the later stages of the race, when she would unleash her amazing closing kick. "Okay, here." Aly finally said as Mistycontinued to throw a fit, letting the filly ease into a slow gallop. The grey filly's head was held high as Aly held her back, her legs reaching as far as they would go. Her lack of recent activity could be felt in the way she tried her hardest to get her head. "Don't fight." Aly groaned under her breath, trying her hardest to get the filly to settle down. "Easy, Misty. You'll get your race. I promise. Just not right now." Finally Misty began to settle and calm down, and Aly loosened her hold a little, ready to take up if the filly tried to bolt. Luckily, Misty didn't. She extended her neck and began to float over the track, as she normally did. "Good girl." Aly said, soon afterwards pulling her up and cooling her out. It wasn't the best work she could've given the filly, but it would have to do for now. She didn't want Misty tired for the upcoming race.
