Tiffany squeezed into Cocoa's sides. Walk on girl, c'mon, easy now, easy. She squeezed the filly onto the track. Good girl,

Cocoa chewed lazily on her bit. When she felt the light squeeze, she began doing a fast walk. It was her natural walk. She was a big girl. She waited for the nexk command that her new owner would give her.

Good girl. Tiffany steered her to the large green steel gates, rather spooky for most horses. Walk on, She said, as the gates approached. Nice, Cocoa, nice.

Still chewing away lazily at her bit, Cocoa walked into the gates. She had done this so many times it wasn't funny. The only thing that would get this mare running was a motivation... and food. Definalty food. Her potential as a racer was slim, but who knows? Mabey this girl could bring it out of her.

Woah, well done girl! The trial horse was beside them. They had to beat the trial horse atleast once to be entered into races. Ya ready? She patted the mare, and waited for the bell. The bell rang...

Okay. That was the motivation. With a burst of speed, as soon as the gate opened, Cocoa took off out of the gate. Head stretched out, tacking each stridew with grace. Her hooves pounded the ground like pistons. Nostrils flaring, she countinued gaining speed with each stride. She paid no attention to the other horse. This filly was fast.

Tiffany relaxed, holding the reins tightly. The other horse was about three lengths off the lead. Good girl, easy. They flew through the first two furlongs, just three more to go. She felt Cocoa's speed, and released her grip of the reins. As they passed the two, Tiffany gently tapped the filly along the shoulder once or twice. She began to push the filly towards the finish.

That was when she put in her all. She let loose and began speeding down the runway. She felt like she was flying over the ground, her hooves barely touching the soft turf beneath them. She outstretched her neck, and even after she passed the finish, she kept going.

Tiffany slowed her as she cantered round the bend. Excellent, Cocoa. It would be great to see Feliks watch this. Tiffany patted the filly. The trial horse had only just cantered over the line. They looked at the flash up board. 5/8 of a mile in 41 seconds, woah. Most horses do half in 48 seconds, we did more than half, and we are in the track records book! Tiffany patted Cocoa. Let's cool you off with a nice bath. Trot on. She squeezed into her sides and took her to the stalls.

She was happy now. She got to trot. She happily trotted, her head nicely collected, chewing her bit once again. Talk about split minded, eh? She did not understand what the girl was saying, she just knew that she wasn't running anymore, and she would probubly get food. She trotted nicely.

Tiffany rode Cocoa through the stables. Hey girl, I'm entering you in a race.

Once again, she couldn't understand. She turned and whinnied back to the track. She wanted to run again. And she wanted food. SHe whinnied again.

Tiffany dropped the reins. What way do you want to do?! She laughed. Go on, you choose! She patted her.

There was anouther Trial horse lined up into the starting gates. COcoa whipped around and began to acnter back toward the gates. It was already open, so she brought herself into them, and waited.

Tiffany sat, awaiting for the bell. This time, there were three trial horses. We can beat them, can't we, Cocoa? She patted her. The bell rang. Brrrrrrrrrrrrring!
